Oyo Police parade four suspected ritualists

The Oyo State Police Command on Tuesday paraded four suspected ritualists in Ibadan.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr. Leye Oyebade, told newsmen that the suspects (names withheld) were arrested in an uncompleted building at Owode area of the state with mutilated human body parts.
He said one of the suspects, who confessed to the crime, told the police that they killed somebody (name not disclosed) at Ogbomoso.

“The suspects, who disguised as prophets confessed to the crime,” Oyebade said.
The command also paraded four men for alleged fraud.
The CP said the suspects, who claimed they were major distributors of Cadbury products in Ibadan, allegedly duped the complainant of N1.2 million.
He said they were arrested at a shrine in Ile-Ife, Osun State, where the police recovered fake dollars and pounds sterling valued at N2million.
Six other suspects arrested for various offences including theft of motorcycle and commercial vehicles were also paraded by the police.
Oyebade assured that the command would not rest on it oars in reducing crime in the state.
