Fabregas' girlfriend made this suggestion to Pedro's wife ahead of Chelsea transfer

The girlfriend of Cesc Fabrgeas played a role in helping Barcelona star Pedro decide on a move to Chelsea, according to the Independent.
Pedro looks set to complete a move to Stamford Bridge in the near future despite it being widely speculated that he was on the verge of a transfer to Manchester United.
And the Independent claim that the partner of Fabregas, Daniella Semaan, spoke to Pedro's wife earlier on in the week to help convince her that a move to west London would be the right one for the Spanish duo.

Fabregas, too, spoke with Pedro about the prospect of his international teammate moving to Chelsea, with it now increasingly likely that a transfer will be confirmed in the near future.
The duo, then, look set to be reunited after previously starring alongside each other in Spain's elite division.

Class signing

There's no doubt about it, Chelsea's late move for Pedro really has taken us all by surprise, but it could prove an inspired decision by Jose Mourinho and Co. in west London.
Ultimately, at 28 years of age, the Spaniard still has so much to give, and will no doubt slot in perfectly at Stamford Bridge. With Hazard on one wing and Pedro on the other, the Blues will have two of the classiest wingers in the division plying their trade under the guidance of Mourinho.

Both Pedro and Hazard will most definitely provide for Chelsea in terms of goals and assists this term, so once they hit the ground running, they could become quite the force. Let's be honest, though, January signing Juan Cuadrado will surely have to move on over the coming weeks.
At the end of the day, it just hasn't worked out for the Colombian in England and, with the signing of Pedro imminent, he's only going to fall even further down the pecking order.
