Adnan Januzaj comes into the Manchester United starting XI for their Friday night game against Aston Villa.
Januzaj, who had been linked with a move away from the club, replaces Ashley Young in the only change from the Tottenham game.
Sergio Romero continues in goal with David de Gea again sitting out for the visitors.
Marouane Fellaini is suspended, Phil Jones is out with thrombosis and Marcos Rojo is still lacking match fitness.
Villa are unchanged from their 1-0 win over Bournemouth which means match winner Rudy Gestede has to settle for a spot on the bench.
The striker, who joined from Blackburn
in the summer, scored the only goal of the game at Bournemouth after
coming off the bench, but Sherwood does not want to rush him after an
interrupted pre-season.
TEAMS:

Manchester United: Romero; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw; Carrick, Schneiderlin; Mata, Memphis, Januzaj; Rooney (c).
